General Description of Damage
Distribution and
Host plants:
  • Distribution restricted to Southeast Asia. Northeast India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Palawan in the Philippines and Indonesia, including Irian Jaya.
  • Mango pulp weevil infests mango pulp and causes fruit drop and renders the mango fruit unsaleable.
