  • Asia: China (restricted distribution), Hong Kong, Japan, Far East Russia
  • America: United States, Canada (restricted distribution, under eradication)
  • Europe: Portugal (one island in the Azores)
Host Plants:
  • Primary hosts: over 290 species of elm, maple, grape vine, peach, apple, apricot, cherry, plum, rose, maize, asparagus, soybean, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and turf grass
