City entomologist, Bisbane City Council, 1928-33, the first full-time entomologist to be employed by an Australian municipality. Published on mosquito biology and natural controls. Lecturer in Zoology, University of Queensland 1937-43. Past President of Royal Soc. Queensland & Entomology Society of Queensland.
