While it is great to be able to dissect the butterfly data into names, places, latitudes and longitudes, seasonality / flight time etc, it might be nice to actually SEE an image of the animal.

There are many sources that will show you images of the adult butterfly; however, the images presented here will also show you a range of egg, larva, pupa, foodplant and habitat images for a range of species.

Please note that not all species in the database have an accompanying image.
